Equipment Sales

Scissor lifts for sale.

New and used scissor lifts, ready to get your crew up and working — sold straight from one yard on Industrial Blvd in Gainesville, and trusted across Northeast Georgia since 1973.

Scissor lift

The straight-up way to work at height.

When the work stays in one spot but lives ten, twenty, or forty feet up, a scissor lift beats a ladder every time — a stable platform, a guardrail, and room for a crew and their tools. When you're ready to own one instead of renting, Coker sells new and used scissor lifts and helps you put the right one to work, from a single-man shop to one of the billion-dollar factories we've outfitted for decades.

Our stock turns over, so a scissor lift for sale today may not be the one on the ground next week — live inventory lives on Machinery Trader, where you can browse current inventory and see exactly what's available. Don't see your platform height or width? Tell us the job and we'll track it down. And if you only need a lift for one job, you can always rent one instead.

03Questions

Scissor lift sales questions

Do you sell new and used scissor lifts?

Both. Coker handles new and used scissor lifts, and our current stock is listed through Machinery Trader so you can see exactly what's on the ground today. Inventory turns over, so if you don't see the platform height or width you're after, call the yard at 770-532-7066 — we'll tell you what's coming in and help you find the right lift.

Electric or rough-terrain scissor lift — which one do I need?

It comes down to where the lift works. A narrow electric slab scissor lift is built for finished floors, indoor work, and tight aisles, with no fumes and quiet running. A rough-terrain scissor lift rides on bigger tires and a stronger drive for gravel, dirt, and uneven outdoor sites. Tell us the surface, the platform height you need, and how much weight goes up with the crew, and we'll point you to the right machine.

Should I buy a scissor lift or rent one?

Buy when the lift will run regularly and you'd rather park it in your own building than rent it again and again. Rent when you only need height for a single job or a short stretch and don't want to own, store, and maintain it. Coker does both, so we'll give you a straight answer either way — if renting is the smarter call, we'll say so. You can rent a scissor lift from us at /rentals/.

Can I trade in or consign my current scissor lift?

Yes. Coker buys, takes trades, and lists machines on consignment through Machinery Trader, so your old lift can help cover the next one. Bring the details — make, model, platform height, hours, and condition — and we'll walk through your options. Start at /sales/sell-or-consign/ or call 770-532-7066.

Garrett, Myles, and the whole team at Coker are AWESOME!! They have taken amazing care of me for years and they sell me equipment at fair prices. They are the give you the shirt off their back type of people. Keep their word type of people. Charge you enough to make a good living but not to extort you kind of people. If you want to buy or rent construction equipment, look no further 🔥
