Mini excavators for sale.
New and used compact excavators for tight residential and landscape work — sold straight from our yard on Industrial Blvd in Gainesville, where we've matched machines to jobs since 1973.

Small machine, serious reach.
A mini excavator earns its place when the job is tight, the ground is soft, or a full-size machine just won't fit. Coker sells new and used minis built for backyard drainage, footings, utility trenches, landscape grading, and the kind of close-quarters digging that chews up bigger iron's clearance.
Inventory turns over, so the surest way to find the right machine is to browse our current inventory on Machinery Trader and then call the yard. Tell us the work — dig depth, access width, the attachments you run — and we'll point you to the size that fits and the price that's fair. Need it for one job only? Rent an excavator instead and skip the ownership.
Picking the right mini.
Mini excavator sales questions
Do you sell new or used mini excavators?
Both. Coker sells new and used mini excavators, and what's on the lot changes as machines come and go. Because inventory is dynamic, our current listings live on Machinery Trader rather than in a fixed list here — browse what's available, then call 770-532-7066 or send a quote request and we'll talk through the right machine for your work.
How do I see what mini excavators Coker has for sale right now?
Our live, dated inventory is posted to Machinery Trader, where each listing shows the machine, hours, and details as it sits on our lot. Use the browse-current-inventory link on this page to see what's available today. Don't see the size you want? Tell us — we move equipment regularly and can keep an eye out for the right fit.
Should I buy a mini excavator or just rent one?
If the machine will earn its keep across many jobs, buying makes sense — you own it, you control it, and there's no clock running. For a one-off dig or a short stretch of work, renting is usually the cheaper, simpler call, and Coker rents mini-to-full-size excavators too. Tell us about the work and we'll give you a straight answer, even when renting wins.
Do you take trade-ins or consignments on equipment?
Yes. Coker buys, sells, and consigns equipment, so if you're upgrading a mini excavator or clearing out a machine you no longer need, we can talk trade-in or list it for you. Start on our Sell or Consign page, or just call the yard at 770-532-7066 and tell us what you've got.
Where is Coker Equipment and what areas do you serve?
Our yard is at 1242 Industrial Blvd in Gainesville, GA 30501, and we're open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We sell and service equipment across Hall County and the surrounding Northeast Georgia communities — Gainesville, Commerce, Buford, Cleveland, Winder, and the towns in between — and we've done it since 1973.
Trusted across Northeast Georgia
Rented an excavator at Coker this past week after being shafted by another rental company. Coker was HALF of what the other rental company was. The man at the desk was extremely nice and respectful unlike the other rental company whose desk clerk actually called me "Missy".. Missy is not my name and Im not young and dumb. Coker did not disrespect me for one second because Im a woman like the other rental place. The excavator came EXACTLY on time, in perfect shape (BRAND NEW WITH PLASTIC STILL ON IT!) and the driver was extremely nice. Will be going to Coker for EVERY rental EVERY time! Thank you Coker!
Coker Equipment is honest, straightforward and reliable. I cant recommend them enough. Ive been working with them for 4 years, specifically Garrett, and Ive never had a single problem with them or their machines. Great guys and great business. Thanks for your help!
Aside there rental equipment they have a lot of harware, tools etc.
