01Our story
From single-man crews to billion-dollar factories.
Coker Equipment opened its doors in Gainesville, Georgia in 1973, and we've been a family-owned business ever since. We started out outfitting the one-man crews and small contractors who keep Northeast Georgia building — and over five decades we grew alongside them, right up to the billion-dollar factories that now count on us too.
What hasn't changed is the heart of it. The same name is on the building, real people answer the phone, and the goal every day is the same one it was in '73: get the right machine to the right job, at a fair price, without the runaround.
Today that means three things under one roof on Industrial Boulevard — equipment rentals, new and used sales, and a deep line of industrial supply. Whether you need a mini excavator for the weekend, a skid steer to own, or a pallet of propane and safety gear, it's all in one yard. That one-stop convenience, plus service folks actually trust, is why neighbors voted us Best of Hall in both 2025 and 2026.

The castle on Industrial Boulevard.
Our home is a castellated brick landmark — battlements and all — and it's been Coker's base since 1973. That building is where the logo comes from, and it's how you know you've found us.
