Answers from the yard

Coker Equipment FAQ.

Renting, buying, propane, supplies, and finding us on Industrial Blvd — the questions Hall County asks most, answered straight. Still stuck? Call the yard and a real person picks up.

01Rentals

Renting a machine.

Do you rent equipment by the day, or only long-term?

Both. Coker rents by the day, the week, and the month, so you only pay for the time the machine is on your jobsite. Short one-day jobs and multi-month projects are equally welcome. The surest way to lock in what you need is to reserve ahead — call us at 770-532-7066 or send a quote request and we'll confirm the machine and the rate.

Should I reserve a machine ahead of time?

It's the smart move. Availability moves fast on popular machines like skid steers, excavators, scissor lifts, and boom lifts — especially around weekends and busy build seasons. Tell us the equipment and your dates and we'll set it aside so it's fueled and ready when you roll in. Walk-ins are welcome too, but a quick call gets you the surest shot at the exact machine you want.

Do you deliver rental equipment to my jobsite?

We work with contractors across Hall County and Northeast Georgia every day, and delivery comes down to the machine, your location, and the dates. The honest answer is to call the yard at 770-532-7066 — tell us where the job is and what you need, and we'll sort out the best way to get it there and back.

02Sales

Buying & consigning.

What's the difference between renting and buying from Coker?

Rent when you need a machine for a specific job or a short stretch and don't want to own, store, and maintain it. Buy when the equipment earns its keep year-round — we sell new and used machines and also list consignment inventory through Machinery Trader. If you're not sure which way to go, tell us about the work and we'll give you a straight answer, even when renting is the cheaper call.

Do you sell new and used equipment, or take consignments?

All three. Coker sells new and used machines, and we'll list your equipment on consignment through Machinery Trader to put it in front of buyers across the country. If you're hunting for a specific machine or looking to sell one, tell us what you've got or what you need and we'll point you the right way.

Do you offer financing on equipment purchases?

Financing options can make a purchase work for your budget, and the right fit depends on the machine and your situation. Give us a call at 770-532-7066 or stop by the yard and we'll walk you through the options that make sense — no pressure, just a straight conversation about what works.

03Supplies & Propane

Propane & jobsite supply.

Do you sell propane?

Yes. Coker stocks propane right here on Industrial Blvd, so you can top off forklift bottles, grill tanks, and jobsite cylinders without an extra stop across town. Swing by during business hours and we'll get you filled up.

What kind of industrial supplies do you carry?

A deep line of it. Beyond rentals and sales, Coker stocks safety and PPE, rigging and lifting gear, water pumps and hoses, fuel and safety cans, painting supplies, casters and wheels, and trusted brands like IRWIN, Ridgid, MasterLock, and OTC. It's one stop for the machine and everything that keeps the job moving.

Coker is an old school equipment shop. They have everything you might need. While the prices might be slightly higher but you can get unique equipment. They also offer equipment rental. Definitely recommend because everytime I have needed something weird they have been able to help me out.
